Vintage 2025 at Eastern Peake

Vintage is always a busy time loaded with positive energy within our small team here at Eastern Peake

Here are some images from an intense harvest with a hot season bringing everything together, all at once

Eastern Peake, Walsh Block, Griffins Road and Two Mile Hill sites picked and processed over three weeks in our Coghills Creek neighbourhood.

October 2025 - Update

Eastern Peake 2025 vintage notes

Doesn’t feel all that long ago I was chalking up all the 2015 barrel codes on the headboards of barrels & 2025 felt like it was light years away … Season’s which couldn’t be anymore vastly different!

2025 Pinot Noirs all Safely tucked away in barrel.

This is the earliest harvest on record, ever experienced in four decades of growing grapes on our sites.

Normally, in a warmer vintage we’d be just beginning to see some maturity development now & make a call on harvesting ( around early February ) … years like 99, 08, 09, 16 & 18 are providing some context but this is new territory for us.

The good news is the wines settling into barrel are beginning to look very very delicious with great fruit profiles, fine tannin structure & great pallet length. Pretty excited to see these wines settle in over the coming cooler months.

Vintage 2025 was a massive effort for the team - long long hours over the three weeks.

Normally harvest can stretch over three months, with all the @lattavino growers fruit arriving first up and then moving onto processing out Coghills Creek vineyards. Not so for harvest 2025! All wrapped up in three weeks.
