Visiting the Cellar Door
Where are you located?
Eastern Peake and Latta Cellar Door is located in Coghills Creek, around 25 minutes from Ballarat and a scenic 30 minute drive from Daylesford, overlooking the beautiful Creswick Valley.
Do I need to book?
Bookings are recommended, particularly on weekends and public holidays. Walk-ins are always welcome when space allows, but booking ahead ensures we can provide the best experience.
What can I expect from a tasting?
Our seated guided tastings showcase both Eastern Peake and Latta Vino wines. Each tasting explores our vineyards, winemaking philosophy and the unique character of carefully selected sites and the growers we work with alongside our cool-climate sites in Coghills Creek.
How long does a tasting take?
Allow approximately two hours to enjoy your tasting at a relaxed pace, particularly if you have selected our regional produce board to elevate your tasting. Let us know if you need more or less time.
Is there a tasting fee?
Yes. Current pricing is available when booking online.
Food
Do you serve food?
We offer thoughtfully curated grazing boards featuring local cheeses, charcuterie and seasonal accompaniments, designed to enjoy alongside our wines. Please arrange when you book.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
We can accommodate a gluten free, vegetarian and pescatarian dietary restriction with advance notice. Please let us know when making your booking.
Wine
Are your wines organically grown?
Eastern Peake sites in Coghills Creek are farmed using organic principles with a strong focus on regenerative agriculture and minimal intervention winemaking. We are excited to receive our organic certification in 2026.
Many growers and viticulturists we work with to produce Latta Vino wines are certified organic.
Can I buy wine to take home?
Absolutely. Our full range is available to purchase from the Cellar Door, and we can also arrange shipping across Australia.

Yes. Members enjoy priority access to new releases, limited wines, exclusive events and member pricing throughout the year.

Visiting with Family & Friends
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Please bring colouring pages, pencils and suitable indoor activities.We aren't able to offer high chairs.
Is your Cellar Door dog friendly?
No. Please do not bring your dog, or any pets.
Is your Cellar Door wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We aim to make our Cellar Door welcoming and accessible for all guests. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit.
