Pinot Noir 2007 OB Terroir (New Reserve Release)
Colour: Ruby glass and crimson hues, excellent intensity. Nose: Mulberry and blood plums with hints of earthiness and balanced smoky oak. Palate: Black cherries, fine-grained tannins and lingering spice finish. Food: Seared salmon, rich casseroles, duck, lamb, and all game dishes. Cellar: Showing superbly upon release, this wine offers complexity and even further development over time. Eastern Peake consistently boasts longevity in its wines, with the Pinot Noir continuing to develop over 10 to 15 years. The OB Terroir was crafted from the 1983 and 1989 blocks, consisting of the Pinot clone of MV6. This resulted in a unique wine, justifying its place amongst Easter Peake's 'reserve' selection.
